We’re all in this boat called life. There are winds and waves, sometimes still, sometimes turbulent.
Jesus wants us to remember that He is with us on the boat. He will never leave us. He wants us to have this faith in our turbulent times: “The God of the Universe is with me. What should I fear?”
He will calm our storms. He will still the raging wind and waves. We just need to trust Him, and keep our eyes on Him. He will carry us though it all.
“Peace, be still.”
Say the word and I will.
Set my feet upon the sea,
Till I’m dancing in the deep.
“Peace, be still.”
You are here so it is well.
Even when my eyes can’t see,
I will trust the voice that speaks.
